Ordained at Christ Church, Savannah, Bob subsequently planted two churches – St. Luke’s Church in Rincon, GA, and St. Patrick’s Church in Pooler. GA. Early in his ministry, Bob founded the Oasis Center, a non-profit Christian counseling center in Savannah. More recently, Bob served as pastor at Bethel Lutheran Church in Springfield, GA (2010 – 2022), where he was granted pastor emeritus status. His research has been on spiritual development over the life span. Bob has authored two widely read columns on religious life in Georgia newspapers.
